At Pensive, we’re building an AI-native school designed for the post-AGI world. AI is reshaping which skills matter, and many learners are unsure how to adapt and thrive. At the same time, AI makes truly personalized, scalable learning possible for the first time in history.

Our mission is simple: deliver personalized education in a universally accessible way, that enables every learner to succeed in the AI-native workforce.

As a first step, we’re augmenting today’s higher-ed system with an AI learning platform that gives institutions 10x faster grading and always-available, course-specific tutoring.

Pensive is already being used by hundreds of instructors from top institutions, including UC Berkeley, Harvard, Columbia, and CMU. You can explore our product on our website.

As our next step, we are working on a product in stealth that already has $10B+ enterprises as our customers.

Yoon is the CEO and co-founder of Pensive.

• He was born on Jeju Island, a small island in South Korea.
• At 13, he made his first sales by selling backpacks in Seoul’s largest street market.
• He founded his first startup during his first year at UC Berkeley, but failed.
• He became the youngest AI Research Scientist at Riiid (and probably in South Korea) after winning the largest Kaggle competition in 2020, just one year into college. He also published multiple papers applying AI in the education domain.
• While interning at Google, he had a 1:1 meeting with Jeff Dean.
• He started Pensive when he was a tutor teaching computer science to other students.

Minjune is the CTO and co-founder of Pensive.

• He founded an edtech company in high school in a Korean Startup Accelerator.
• He has 10+ years of SWE experience in fullstack/AI engineering.
